In 2015, after successfully exiting a previous venture, David Llorente, a seasoned expert in both AI research and content marketing, identified a fundamental problem—businesses were pouring resources into content creation without a clear way to measure effectiveness. Content teams were hitting bottlenecks, struggling to scale their output while maintaining quality and relevance. Determined to solve these issues, he presciently envisioned an AI-driven approach to transform raw data into meaningful, scalable content pieces (or “narratives”).
Llorente and his team developed breakthrough innovations, including a knowledge graph and a pseudo-programming language for text generation, laying the foundation for a smarter, more efficient way to author content.
